How to Play Dress to Impress

One server holds a maximum of 13 players, and each round follows the same flow:

1. Theme announced. The theme appears at the end of the waiting time in the lobby.
2. Enter the Dressing Room. You have about 6 minutes to choose clothes, hair, makeup, and accessories. One avatar can wear up to 18 items.
3. Walk the runway. All players take turns showing off their look with their chosen walk and poses.

Cash, Stars, and Ranks in Dress to Impress

Cash is the main currency in DTI. According to the community wiki, you earn it from round results (up to about $60 per round), from Style Showdown ($200 for first place), and from money scattered around the map. Pink money is worth $1 to $3, while gold money is worth $15 to $25. Cash is used to buy items, pose packs, walk packs, and minigames.

Stars from voting determine your rank. There are 14 ranks, from New Model at 0 stars to Fashion Goddess at over 150,000 stars. Some key milestones in between:

• Rising Star (50) and Fashionista (500): early ranks that are easy to get if you play regularly.
• Runway Queen (3,000): unlocks access to Pro servers where the competition is more serious.
• Runway Diva (15,000) and Top Model (25,000): signs that you are consistently making it to the podium.
• Supernova (100,000) and Fashion Goddess (150,000+): the highest ranks for veteran players.

Besides Pro servers, there are Master servers for players with 10,000 stars and up, Casual and Regular servers for everyone, and VIP servers for VIP owners.

Tips for Winning Themes in Dress to Impress

Voting in DTI happens fast, so looks that are instantly readable usually win. Here are some tips you can use:

• Pick 2 to 3 keywords from the theme. Build your outfit around one main item, like a dress, jacket, or costume, then add details that clarify the theme.
• Use only 2 to 3 colors. A clean palette is easier to look at from a distance compared to an outfit that is too busy.
• Don't forget hair and makeup. This part is often the differentiator when many players are wearing similar clothes.
• Manage your time. Spend the first minute on the base outfit, then add details and accessories in the remaining time.
• Pose with variety. Use 2 to 3 different poses on the runway and hold each for a few seconds.
• Collect gold money on the map. This method speeds up your ability to buy new items between rounds.
• Play on Pro servers after reaching Runway Queen. Voting there tends to be fairer because the players are more serious.

Latest Dress to Impress 2026 Updates

DTI received several major updates throughout 2026. According to the community wiki, the Summer 2026 update on July 4, 2026, added 64 new items, 18 makeup presets, a Brazil-themed Freeplay map, Daily Login rewards, and the Style Stars system in Style Showdown. Follow-up updates in August and September 2026 added the Seashell Cove event, male body improvements, and the limited-time quest The Hunt: Roblox 20.

Previously, the Tokyo Spring update in April 2026 brought the Tokyo map and the Sweet Berry Set. Since DTI almost always has seasonal events, check the event tab in-game to see the quests and limited items currently running.

Dress to Impress Codes

DTI regularly shares codes that give free items. Some codes recorded as active on code trackers as of October 16, 2026, include 10BILLION (Heart Fork), M3RM4ID (mermaid set), and D1ORST4R (bow and bag). To use them, tap the bag-shaped Codes icon on the left side of the screen, type the code exactly as written, then press Redeem.

Dress to Impress is free to play. Gamepass items sold on the official game page as of October 16, 2026:

• VIP Pass (799 Robux): Permanent VIP with a VIP Room containing exclusive items and access to VIP servers. There is also a monthly VIP for 299 Robux via in-game purchase.
• Custom Makeup (349 Robux) and Materials+ (299 Robux): unlocks custom makeup and fabric material or texture options.
• Increased Item Limit (129 Robux): raises the item limit from 18 to 24.
