Roblox Plus: Price, Benefits, and Differences from Premium

If you open the subscription menu in Roblox now, you won't see Roblox Premium anymore, but Roblox Plus instead. This new subscription launched globally on April 30, 2026, and since that date, Roblox has stopped accepting new Premium sign-ups. The focus has also shifted: it's no longer about monthly Robux, but shopping discounts, free private servers, and fee-free Robux transfers.

For players used to Premium, this change brings up many questions. How much does it cost, what do you get, and do active Premium subscriptions need to be changed? All the answers are below, based on official Roblox announcements and pages.

Roblox Plus Pricing and Plan Options

Roblox Plus is available globally, including in Indonesia. Besides the basic plan, there are also Plus bundles that include monthly Robux. These are the prices on the Roblox web Robux page for Indonesian accounts, checked on October 8, 2026:

• Roblox Plus: Rp90.000 per month, without monthly Robux.
• Plus 500: Rp162.000 per month, including 500 Robux every month.
• Plus 1000: Rp235.000 per month, including 1.000 Robux every month.
• Plus 2000: Rp396.000 per month, including 2.000 Robux every month.

Bundles are more cost-effective than buying Plus and Robux packs separately. Roblox notes that the value of Plus 500 is equivalent to Rp180.000, Plus 1000 is equivalent to Rp270.000, and Plus 2000 is equivalent to Rp450.000 if purchased individually. Prices on Android and iOS apps may vary, so check your account before subscribing.

Plus can be paid for with credit or debit cards, PayPal, App Store and Google Play purchases, or credit balances from Roblox Gift Cards. If the Plus option doesn't appear on your phone, update your Roblox app to the latest version.

Roblox Plus Benefits for Players

All benefits below are active as long as the subscription is running. Roblox also mentioned that new features will continue to be added, so the list may grow.

10% Discount Increasing to 20%

In the first two months, you get a 10% discount on purchases made with Robux. Starting from the third consecutive month, the discount increases to 20%. If you cancel and then subscribe again, the discount resets to 10% and you have to wait another two months for it to increase.

The discount applies to gamepass, developer products (one-time purchase items in-game), developer subscriptions, paid games, and avatar items. Exceptions include items over 1.000.000 Robux, Marketplace publishing fees, ad credits, and group fees. An item priced at 100 Robux becomes 90 Robux in the first month and 80 Robux starting from the third month. For expensive items like Korblox Deathspeaker which is sold for 17.000 Robux, a 20% discount means you only pay 13.600 Robux.

This deduction is covered by Roblox, not the game developer. So, the creator's earnings from each purchase remain the same, and you don't need to feel like you're "hurting" your favorite developer. The final price is always shown on the buy button, so check there before paying.

Unlimited Free Private Servers

Plus subscribers can create paid private servers for free and without limits in supported games. This is useful if you often farm with friends in popular games and want your own server without having to buy private servers one by one.

Fee-Free Robux Transfers

This is a brand-new feature in Roblox. Plus subscribers can send Robux directly to friends without fees, and the recipient doesn't need to have a Plus subscription. Just click the Robux icon in the top right corner, select Send, find your friend, and specify the amount.

For security, underage accounts require parental approval every time they send or receive Robux. Roblox also mentioned that this age rule may adjust to local regulations in each region.

Trading, Selling Avatar Items, and Profile Features

Plus subscribers can trade and resell limited items, as well as create and sell avatar items in the Marketplace. There is also a Roblox Plus badge on your profile, profile frames, and avatar backgrounds. One thing to note, the basic Plus plan does not provide monthly Robux, so choose a bundle if you still want a regular Robux allowance.

The Fate of Roblox Premium After Roblox Plus

Roblox Premium hasn't been removed for existing subscribers, but it hasn't been sold since April 30, 2026. This means new players cannot subscribe to Premium. If your Premium is still active, here is what changes and what stays:

• Stays: Monthly Robux allowance according to the plan (450, 1.000, or 2.200 Robux) continues to arrive as long as the subscription is active.
• Stays: Premium 1000 and Premium 2200 holders can still trade, publish, and sell avatar items. Roblox also stated that these two plans continue to pay the lowest price for their monthly Robux allocation.
• Gone: The 10% bonus for additional Robux purchases, which was discontinued starting May 30, 2026.
• Gone: The Premium logo on the account.
• Bonus: Premium subscribers get a 1-month free trial of Roblox Plus via a link in their Roblox inbox, and Plus can be used simultaneously with Premium.

If you cancel Premium, the avatar items you are currently selling will remain visible during the five-day grace period. Since Roblox no longer sells Premium, think carefully before canceling.

Roblox Plus vs Premium: Which One is Right for You?

The main difference between the two is how you get more value. Premium gives you Robux, while Plus makes the Robux you have go further for more items.

• Monthly Robux: Included in Premium. Only available in Plus via Plus 500, Plus 1000, or Plus 2000 bundles.
• Shopping discounts: Plus gives 10% to 20%. Premium now has no discounts or purchase bonuses.
• Private servers and Robux transfers: Only available in Plus.
