How to Create a Roblox Gamepass in 2026 on Mobile and PC (Latest)

Want to sell a VIP room, double coin, or exclusive pet in your own game? You do it through a Gamepass. Once bought, players get permanent access, and you get Robux from every sale. It's no wonder many Indonesian players are looking for how to create a Roblox Gamepass.

The problem is, the menu in the Roblox Creator Hub has moved several times, so many old tutorials are no longer accurate. This guide uses the latest workflow as of October 2026, for both PC and mobile, including how to set up the benefits inside the game.

Requirements Before Creating a Gamepass

Make sure these four things are ready, as these are the most common reasons why a Gamepass fails to be created:

• Account email verified. A standard account is enough, no need for Roblox Plus. The steps are in the Roblox account verification guide.
• Have a published game. A Gamepass is always attached to a game. If you don't have one, create and publish an experience first, easiest via Roblox Studio on PC or laptop.
• Icon image max 512x512 pixels. JPG, PNG, or BMP format. Roblox displays icons in a circle, so don't put important text in the corners of the image.
• Benefits already planned. Decide what the buyer gets first, for example, VIP area access or special items, because these benefits must be set up via script.

How to Create a Roblox Gamepass on PC

All Gamepass settings are now in the Creator Hub, no longer on the old game page. The steps are:

1. Open Creations in the Creator Hub and log in
2. Select the game you want to add a Gamepass to
3. Go to the Monetization menu, then select Passes
4. Click Create pass
5. Upload an icon image, then fill in the Gamepass name and description
6. Select a category, then save

Your Gamepass now exists, but it's not for sale yet. Price settings are in the next section.

How to Create a Roblox Gamepass on Mobile

Players who only use mobile can also create a Gamepass, as long as they have a published game. There are two ways:

• Via the Roblox app. Update the app to the latest version, open the Create menu, select your game, then go to Monetization and Passes. The flow is the same as on PC.
• Via mobile browser. Open create.roblox.com in Chrome, enable Desktop site from the three-dot menu, then follow the same steps as on PC.

If the Monetization menu doesn't appear, check again if your game is set to Public. Games that are still Private cannot be used to sell a Gamepass.

How to Set Prices and Sell a Gamepass

A new Gamepass won't appear in the shop until its price is set:

1. In the Monetization > Passes menu, hover over the Gamepass, click the three-dot icon
2. Select the Gamepass, then open the Sales tab
3. Enable Item for Sale
4. Enter the price in the Price in Robux field
5. Click Save Changes

Prices can be set from 1 to 1 billion Robux. From every sale, you receive about 70% and the rest is taken by Roblox as a marketplace fee. The Robux from sales cannot be used immediately, as it enters a pending status first. The explanation is in the Robux pending article.

For new games, prices in the tens of Robux are usually easier to sell than hundreds of Robux. Only raise the price if the benefits are truly significant, for example, unlocking many premium features at once.

How to Get a Gamepass ID and Link

The Gamepass ID is needed for scripts and for sharing the link with other players. In Monetization > Passes, hover over the Gamepass thumbnail, click the three dots, then select Copy Asset ID.

Set Up Gamepass Benefits with Scripts

This is the part that is often missed: Roblox does not automatically give benefits to buyers. You have to set it up in Roblox Studio.

• Check ownership when a player joins. Use the PlayerAdded event, then check with MarketplaceService:UserOwnsGamePassAsync using your Gamepass ID. If the result is true, give the benefit.
• Offer purchases inside the game. Use PromptGamePassPurchase when a player presses a button or approaches a seller NPC, then handle the result with PromptGamePassPurchaseFinished.
• Put the script in ServerScriptService. So that benefits are managed from the server and cannot be easily cheated.

New Gamepass Rules in 2026

There are two changes from Roblox that you need to know this year:

• Cross-game Gamepass sales have been disabled since May 30, 2026. Games that used to sell Gamepasses from other games, like donation game models, are now directed to use the Robux transfers feature.
• Gamepasses can be promoted on the Buy Robux page. Through the Promotions tab, your Gamepass can enter the bonus pool and be given for free to players who buy certain Robux packages. The condition is that the Gamepass price must be above 49 and below 801 Robux, and it must have a thumbnail.

Create a Gamepass for 5-Day Robux Top Up at Golrox

5. Complete the order according to the instructions at checkout, then wait for the Robux to arrive in an estimated 5 to 7 days

Follow the price number at checkout exactly as it is, don't round it or change it, so the order can be processed immediately.

Many people reach this guide when they actually just want to buy a Gamepass in their favorite game. If that's the case, you don't need the Creator Hub at all. Open the game page, go to the Store tab, then buy with your Robux balance.
